The only reason I do any performance mods to mine is because I like to go faster.
I feel the need... the need for speed.

There are no tracks around here to race on.... and I never participate in any organized illegal street racing. Most times I just want to get ahead of the silly car beside me.

People mod their cars for three reasons: 1) Bragging rights, 2) Seat-of-the-pants improvement in performance, or 3) Racing. If you don't want to race your car, that is admirable. Your car will last longer if you don't rag on it. However, there is no reason you can't mod your car for the fun of it. Some mods (intake and exhaust) can actually improve fuel efficiency. Others (smaller supercharger pulleys) will have the opposite effect. I would stay away from Nitrous, but a good exhaust, 180* thermostat, Transmission cooler, and an intake (if you can find it) will only help your car--plus give it a bit more of a kick.

Have fun!

Tim

Mod for you and your needs.
Even an air freshner is a mod?
So is Nitrous

LOL.
I mod just to blow down the highway and have some fun stop light olympic stories. Going to try going to the track several times just to see what times I can run. Not putting money on it, just in it.

Once I started thinking about modding I couldn't stop. I don't want to put too much more into this one. I want to wait and save for my next one, but I keep on wanting to do more, and I know I will end up doing more soon...it'* an addiction I have to feed. But Tim'* right, intake and exhaust will improve fuel efficiency, unless you in turn get a bigger lead foot.
