Question on SSEi and LSS swaybars

Hi

Do these cars have the same swaybars, and if not...what would the part number(s) be for a SSEi implant to my LSS?

Is there a better aftermarket upgrade for the LSS than the GM route ?

You need to measure your front and rear swaybars with a micrometer or calipers. We can figure it out from there. My bet is the LSS has a lighter bar front and rear than the SSEi.

The best option by far is a wrecker. Damemorder is in the process of this now. He's done the rear, and he's doing the front probably right now.

hi

the LSS has a very robust looking front. its one of the largest i've seen.

i will check with my pontiac dealer in the morning to see if they are the same part number.

If the LSS has the 'largest possible' front swaybar, it'll be the same as the SSEi. The SSEi has the largest swaybars available from the factory for an H body.

hi

it looks huge. i cant say until measuring, but just by comparing to other, "basic" h's, this is by far the largest i've seen. could it possibly be the same as the SSEi ?

it seems to really do well in the front, but needs help aft.

Measure them. I'd like to know. And even on my SSEi, I'd like to see the rear a bit beefier.

hi

i have tomorrow off, so i might be able to borrow a mic to check the front.

i've been doing a quick internet search for a donor SSEi swaybar, but seems they are hard to find.

is there a aftermarket alternative that will give as good a result as i fear that GM may be a bit expensive going new SSEi parts ?

hi

thanks so much will...that has save so much time.

i 'll measure the front tomorrow, it such a beefy swaybar, i am hoping its the same.

those prices are much lower than i had thought :D

btw, should i use the a/auto endlinks you spoke of in another thread recently?

Damemorder 04-11-2004 06:47 PM

Energy Suspension Endlinks fro Autozone. They rock. I used just the replacement bushing set on the rear and took the extra time the get mine off without breaking them. $20ish total.
