Does it give you a lumpy idle?
It was a little lumpy but not as lumpy as clips I've heard of the GT2 and Intense cams.

Did you install yours with the motor in the car?

What supplementary mods did you do along with the cam? springs and retainers?

The GT1 does have a little bit of a lope to it, but the GT2 has a huge lope. (my roomate actually told me it sounded good when I played a clip for him, which being a mustang guy is pretty impressive) The GT1 doesn't require convertor or gears, but the GT2 does. GT1 should provide a good gain for you. You can get 1.6 roller rockers to go with the cam, but not worth the cost IMO. What do you have for mods now and what does your car run? With a GT1 cam 14'* should be pretty easy IMO.

I installed my cam with the engine inthe car and through the p/* wheel well. I had to drop the subframe a couple inches though.
When I did my cam install I also put on some p&ped heads and LIM that I did myself. I also had a LS6 springs, HVII, intake, muffler, highflow cat, and maybe something else little.
With no tuning and KR it was much faster than stock.
I've got a bunch of pics of the install and could probably walk you through it if you need help.
You will need tuning with a cam. You at least need an afc upon install.

Never run my car but I have an Intense FWI and PCM.

95naSTA - I'd really like to see the install pics...that'd help greatly.
