has anyone gotten the cam retard offset to work in hpt, on there site none of the threads were updated to say one way or the other.
second if you turn off the codes for evap or egr do the readiness monitors stay incomplete?

Can't answer about the cam. But as for the codes, make sure you turn them off, no report, no nothing. If you have a emissions test, the codes will not show up.

This is one thing I have been wondering about myself. If you disable say the EGR codes, will the EGR readiness monitor come back online? I guess I need to test it to see what happens.....

i havent bought it im contemplating. its so ridiculously expensive. i would like to be sure it will do what i want it for before i buy it. nys inspection requires any car after 96 to be plugged in and they check for codes and 96-99 can only be 2 not readies and 2000+ can only be one. i guess it wouldnt be bad on my bonnie but normally the cat isnt warmed up so on my old mans 04 silverado it has that pos evap system thats constantly giving codes so if i shut it off and it always says not ready it may be a problem
