Default Q: Those with Headers...impact to exhaust sound?

I've been contemplating getting headers for my 03 SSEi. I still have the stock exhaust and plan on keeping it.

I was curious, for those that switched to headers, did the interior noise levels get any louder? Did it cause the exhaust to get raspy?

TIA

Just buy them :P It was my favourite mod. It doesn't add much in the way of drone or raspyness to the sound but headers themselves are louder than minifolds.

I'm fussy about not having too much cabin noise, but with a 3" cat and now a 3" resonator and Dynomax muffler it'* not as loud as many other cars with the same extent of mods.

Cheers,

Not to mention the Y2K+ have a quieter cabin IIRC.

So then does it sound like a stock Camaro with the 3800?

No, the sound difference is just perfect, not a lot louder, but a LOT nicer.

The power difference is awesome like Foghorn said. The best mod for our cars.(for the price)

And i didnt felt a difference in car, the sound is pretty the same. The main difference in sound is from the back.

Windows open you can notice a small difference.

Definatly dont hesitate.

Headers go better on anything modded or not.
I don't think they are available for S1.
