I have read about power logs cracking and that stainless steel is recommended. Does that sound about right?

If these are the stainless then go for it, provided they are not cracked. If they are mild steel, I would not recommend them. You will notice a bit of a difference. Best exhaust mod you will be able to do without going to headers.

ZZP does offer a ceramic coating. The stainless option is the way to go.

I heard the stainless steel actually stays pretty cool, some members on clubgp stated they could actually touch the power log after a good drive
