Default is it possible to switch the L27 with the L36?

hello everyone,

i was thinking about switchin my l27 in my 92 SSE to l36 from 1995 is it possible?

i dont know a lot of people that understand in that engine where i live(israel),

if its possible to switch, do i have to modify the engine mounts?

is there a "younger" generation bonneville'* engine that could fit in?

many thanks.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't see the trouble in doing it. is there a way to get a L36 by you. Might want to think about going with the L67 if you are doing a swap. the mounts on my L36 are one on the passenger side through the belt. on trans-mount on the front. one trans-mount on the back, and the engine torque dog bone. It should bolt right up to the trans you have. you would need probably a new wire harness and pcm. this is a start sure more to come
