I know I'm over spec lol. I'm just asking if anybodys had any issues. I've seen that topic, along with the other three threads on the forum for porting the LIM, which is where I got most of my ideas

You need to match the SHAPE of the head ports. They are rectangular. Ignore the injector boss, and make the rest of the port look EXACTLY like the head ports, including the inside corner radius.

Other than the corner with the injector boss, the ports should be PERFECTLY rectangular. With about a .125" inside corner radius on the other three corners.

How on earth are you port matching to heads when you don't know what the head ports look like?

I've seen pics to match up to... and now for the life of me cannot find them. I mentioned that'* what I was going to do in previous threads and nobody said anything, so I figured it was OK lol. And I pretty much copied the process I saw at http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=74427. Sooo... I suppose I trashed the LIM lol.

Those ports aren't right either. His corners are far too sharp, and don't match the head ports.

O man, you're kidding lol. Arghh... I suppose it'* time to hit up Mr. Morad. I'll pick one up. If I can make use of this one, I'll hold onto it and see. If so, great, I'll sell the morad LIM. If not, I'll call myself retarded and deal with it. Maybe that'* why the LIM in that topic didn't turn out so great lol.

If you'd like more detailed pics of head ports, I can post them here. I have a motor torn down in the garage. They are simply very rectangular, with very well defined .125" radius inside corners. In fact, I have a copy of the original GM Series 1 L67 production print, and your L36 ports are identical.
