Yours is a top-end transplant (not to mention your overported heads). I'd rather (no offense) try one for a stock L27. Too many odd differences with yours to draw a good comparison.

Aren't the L27'* better matched from the factory than the L36?
I'd be interested in seeing the results though. A friend of mine has an L27 powered LeSabre that could benefit from this if it turns out to be worth the effort.

The castings are somewhat better, but there is still room for improvement. Esp. inthe runner department...the runners are rough-cast, which negates airflow. The runners can be smoothed and polished, and even deepend a little bit, and the ports can be widened as well.
I'll post pics of my progress when I get a chance to.

I should post a baseline acceleration video to compare to the one I posted on the last page if I can find it, the difference should be easily noticeable.

Well guys, I finally have a full throttle video to share. This will give you a good idea of just how much this freed my car up. 700' elevation, 63* ambient air temp, level road surface in the country. Had to stop at 60 because I already got pulled over once tonight with a warning, I wasn't going to let it happen again.
You'll note I waited until 30 mph until I actually floored it...I was in "protect my car" mode. Burnouts are baaaad...gotta keep my trans alive and kicking!
Hope you enjoy, and maybe this will inspire someone else to do a PLIM.

Second... Yes thats the difference I saw with my PLIM.... I was surprised to see how easily the car would pull to 5950 on the 1-2 shift... My Trans is still very tired tho.. I don't get the liberty of seeing the speedo move that fast anymore...LMAO...
And I also seem to have improved in Fuel economy.. 21 is the norm in town... And 32 is the norm on the interstate if I can keep my foot off the floor

Hmm, the fuel economy alone warrants this mod. I get about 18-19 in town and 30 highway. Seeing even low 20'* around town would be fantastic.
