Ported LIM
Can't wait to get this! Looks like it'* going to be after April 27th before installation though, got to keep the LeSabre road worthy so me and my dad can make the annual Talledega trip.
I'll document my teardown with pictures and I'm sure I'll have a great deal of questions regarding how to properly remove items, what all goes back where, etc. I'll go slowly, partly due to lack of time but also to check myself along the way and make sure this gets done right. Seeing as how I was able to successfully tackle a PS pump, alternator, and serpentine belt change on my own recently I think with a little assistance this shouldn't be out of my grasp either.

Well, I'm coming into some money soon so I'm going to put a small amount of it aside and make arrangements to get this done.
I'll need to talk with my mechanic friend but right now I'm planning on getting it installed next weekend (May 3 or 4). I'm going to go ahead and order the gaskets now so they'll be here in time. Can't wait!

Looking forward to feeling the power difference. All I can do right now is imagine.
I've read that there is some sort of a 100 mile break in period where the PCM is learning, and only after that will the full gains be felt. Is this true?
