Ported L36 Throttle Body??

That'* because of the gaps in the back and the slightly different offset of the mounting holes, both fixable with epoxy (see the thread referenced earlier).

The L67 TB has a larger bore at the butterfly plate than the L36 (70mm vs 65mm). A '99+ TB does not have a huge "pillar" in the center for the MAF sensor. It'* better stock than a 98 and earlier, and would be easier to port if you go that way with it.

If you do decide to go with a ported L36 (instead of a stock or ported L67), you still want a 99+ because of the MAF pillar thing.
