That'* absolute max and is based on cylinder head port size. Ideally, you want the LIM ports to 'neck down' gradually to SLIGHTLY LESS than heat port size. 1.9x.9 seems to be that magic number or very close to it. NEVER larger than the cylinder head port size.

lol. Ok... maybe no guarantees... but still. Yeah, I have a previous thread about LIMs with a small compilation of other threads that I'm using for references, and that'* one of them.

Since I ported jr's3800'* LIM, nobody else that did the porting has complained a bit.
Even if you screw up a LITTLE, you'll still gain performance. Our goal is to make sure you get the most of it.

The LIMs are plentiful in the JYs in my area. I got mine for 35.00 and will have it pretty well cleaned up and ready to go when I do my gaskets in the spring. I thought it better to do that way rather than feel like I had to hurry once I pulled my current one out. :P

Just a bit of advise, when your porting the runners, make sure that the finish is smooth, but not mirror like. This is an example ofthe finish that we put on out stuff.
