Well I just have to let you all know that I am a happy Bonneville owner.
I recently purchased a 93' SSE non supercharged. I started using
premium gasoline to see what kind of mileage this car would give me. The
previous owner said he only got around 23-26 mpg. I thought this was not
very good. Well after several tank fulls and checking I only got around
23-26 mpg. I was not very happy. Well I decided to change the muffler
to a magnaflow stainless part # 14267. Changed the air filter to a K/N,
and put a performance chip in by Superchips Inc. Well I took the
Bonneville on a road trip. Well at the next fill up I was happily
surprised to have gotten 30.435 mpg. This was also going up through the
ozarks so this was not just interstate driving. I'd like to hear some
others tell of what modifications helped get better mpg and
performance. Thanks for reading this.

I'd have to agree. As my car gets faster and quicker, it runs more efficiently, too. Hope that guy is still running premium, though. He should be with the chip!
