Default Performance Exhaust Tips

Do you think these would work on a flowmaster or magnaflow exhaust system? Or even work at all with stock? It does not seem like a bad investment if they do what they are supposed to do.

This basically acts like a back pressure device. Moving parts will fail. 409 stainless is a low grade and will rust.
This would probably help someone who has gone overboard with a low restriction exhaust gain some of the lost low end torque back.

there is no such thing as a 'performance' tip. They are purely cosmetic.

Nah it makes sense, but it'* just a plate on a pivot. But it'* not work $70 a tip. :?

It'* just like open headers with the flappers.
