CAI - yes. Just read the thread on "Rice Pipe" in the performance and brainstorming [you may need to go through several pages].

ECU: no. I was planning on doing this, but I ran out of money [to make the eprom programmer], I will pick it up, once I get a job. There isn't a whole lot our ECU'* control, however, so you probably won't see much of any gains whatsoever. I can control the ignition advance, fuel pulses, and that'* really it. I still haven't looked at the HEX that'* coded onto mine, but gmtuners [the only place that I could think of, that would do it.. but you will need to shoot him an email first] has one for LG3 Buicks.. maybe LN3'*.. can't really remember.. just hit him with an email.

The setup in my thread will work nicely for you.

Actually CAI is a term for Cold Air Induction, as the intake is actually the intake plenumn.
