I have a 98SLE. How big of a headache will it be to install a northstar V8 in my car?

This would be a complete custom job. N* uses 4t80e tranny, mounts and drive shafts would be custom.

You'd be better off financially going and buying a Cadillac STS of the same vintage -same cost or less than the cost of your SLE+N* conversion, but with A LOT less headaches.

IMO, you would enjoy a L67 a lot more.

i dont think it would be that difficult to drop out the whole engine cradle, and put a GXP cradle in it, but yes, it would be a financial nightmare

GXP cradle won't 'bolt right up' to a 1998 Bonneville.
