Default PEMS dp

If anybody has had pems installed and a dp fabricated/installed I was curious as to what it cost. Also how much difference is there between http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...ts1.php?id=208 with front and rear powerlog and these
http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...ts1.php?id=212 (not the extremes)
as far as flow goes and the difference in hp gains any ideas/thoughts are appreciated and is there still not a place that sells d/p'* for bonnies?
1998 ssei btw. Thanks
-Josh

As far as I am concearned the Plogs will flow pretty close to what the Headers will, however, they cannot be as good
I am getting Plogs for my car this winter.

Yeah, definitely go with the power logs if you don't intend on going into the 12'*.
Power logs should be good for low 13'*, and the bang for the buck is phenominal compared with headers. I would say the p-logs are a very happy medium between stock mani'* and headers.

Also know that you will need a special tuning of your PCM to get the most from the power-log... From what I read the fueling for the front 3 will need to be upped or you may run lean in most cases.

Thanks for your input, that is what i figured and this week I am getting my pems in my d/p and my new pcm. Hopefully it will make a noticable difference. Another thing kinda off topic from this but one of my idler/tensioner pulleys came off the bearing how hard is this to fix. I am just going to take the belt off of the supercharger so I will have a dog for a car for the next 3 days.

I went the PEM and DP route so far.

Cost was pretty low and they work great. I put things on my car in steps.

To help you the most, please look at the future and current mods you are planning.
While we can say use this use that.. it really comes down to your mods.

Consider contacting more than one vendor by phone for their suggestions and ideas about the direction you should go for your car.

This past weekend at the SEBF meet.. I was quite impressed with 96TampsSSEi'* car. He said.."I'm going to school as a engineer and planned out what I wanted to do and where I wanted to be with it"

Great advice..

I only have PEMS on my car and really need a downpipe to open up my exhaust up top...but I'm making ~300whp with the cam and 3.0" pulley. Most cars will lose low-end torque with a downpipe unless they're flowing pretty good...something to keep in mind...

3800performance.com sells the Hogan downpipe for the H-bodies.

As for the idler pulley...they're easy enough to replace. If it'* the tensioner pulley that came off...look into replacing it with a 3.5" metal pulley for more belt wrap if/when you start dropping */c pulley sizes. You may need a shorter belt if you're running a stock */c pulley...but it'* something to consider.

I really need to change my screenname since I'm hardly in Tampa anymore and no one can remember the current one correctly. :?
