Default Pedal vibration gone and some catching up

Todd and I both had this problem, he found his cause to be a bad wire which was causing slight misfire'* under load in the high rpms

I figured that I'd switch out the platium plugs 104s I got in for some regular copper 104'* first and sure enough they WERE the problem.

Plugs that were in there were alsp gapped at .050, the new ones went in at .055 all is good and car is running like a beast now and no more pedal vibration.

Next weekend is a ILGPC mod day and plan on finally throwing on the 3.2, oversized tensinor, new gaterback belt and a MAP TB heatshield I got used off a member for $15. All have been sitting in my garage for more than a month, kinda have been waiting for this mod day so someone can A-tap me before and after to make sure all is good.

Also got me some new rubber, Michelin Pilot Sport A/*, pretty sticky on the street, still can break them loose easily but can launch a bit harder on the street. The wet traction though is unbelivable. it'* almost like it'* dry out, never slide around anymore. Oh and the burnouts are MUCH DARKER, telling me that they are considerably softer and stickier. Can't forget about the cornering, it is also much better. The tires do hold the road pretty darn good, the better for what the cost.

If I could only get some time off of work to go to the track now. Been working 60-70 hrs a week for last month and next 6 weeks look the same, were SO buried at work and were also moving in 3 weeks so my life is nothing but sleep and work and day dream about that 13 second slip. Some day it will be come reality when I get time to go.

Moral of the story, don't use platium plugs in SC engine

Were you getting the vibration at WOT or all the time?

Glad you got the problem fixed.

When the plugs when in was 3-4 months ago when the rockers went in. had no vibration at all, was good for say 2 months and started. Mostly only under WOT and above 4K and up, over time it started doing it under 3/4 throttle and the higher rpms at any occassion. new plugs problem gone
