We hve these guys on our links page: http://gmtuners.com/
So, who has used them. Had good results? Any problems? Anything specific I should ask or ask for? For $40, seems like you can't beat that...

I have heard a lot of fiero guys use him when they swap in the S1 L67. he removes the automatic tranny stuff and the limiters for them. Not sure how much performance stuff he does. Talk to MarkVIIISVT blah blahabout it as he is the one I had talked to on the subject.

95naSTA has a custom chip by them that he is happy with. I'm sure he will pipe in...
When it is time for me to get a new chip this is where I'll go. I like the idea of having a chip setup for what I have done to my car and knowing what parameters were changed to.

There are some capabilities they are apparently unable to program. Skipshifting, holding 2nd, and something else I recall?
A few of us have been asking questions of GMT lately where some of the information is coming from.
Mike (95naSta) is running an L27 PCM modified to work on the L36.

Yep. I'm happy with mine.
You NEED scantool data.
Ryan is an awesome guy. He has done many chips for me even when I changed things like heads, headers, and TB'*. He definitely aims for your satisfaction.
Like Bill said right now I'm running a modified L27 chip.
But, Ryan just e-mailed me a couple days ago and told me that they released the definition file for the 95 L36. He asked me if I wanted to go back to L36 base programing and I will be shortly. I'll post how that goes.

You need a scan tool to see where your at right now. KR, fuel trims, timing, WOT exhaust O2'*, and various readings for light/medium/WOT. With this information Ryan will be able to make a chip that is geared to your mods & conditions.
And once you get your chip, you will be able to see the changes and if any others need to be made.

You can get all the info off the scan tool... but it is basically going to be useless unless you can datalog that info which I'm not sure if you can with that scan tool.
