Default OK ..cool idea

just thought of this....could the CCR ride buttons by the shifter be used to control the ELC.....ok say that your CCR has bitten the dust.....well if you wanted to raise the ELC say for a little drag racing, you could push the button and raise the car...push the other and the car would lower to the normal ride heigth....or if you knew that you were putting something in the trunk and wanted to raise the car to a certain point.....

doable I think so....thoughs?

I dont see why not, i have thought on that idea as well, using a toggle switch. you would just have to make sure the compressor bypasses the accessory panel and fills the rear struts instead.

The Gearheads are going to need to chime in on this....

I believe it'* do-able..... but the risk of adding so many fault points to the ELC system is risky IMHO.

Not sure it would be worth it. You have to:

1. Disable the selector valve to default into strut fill mode.
2. Turn on the compressor to fill.
3. Disable the system after filling to prevent venting (pull fuse).

That'* alot to do with two switches. You're going to need alot of relays to work in self-latch or timed mode.
