Any one of the cars on this Forum would pass emissions even in modified form, and some in bad tune. These are very clean running engines.
In an effort to prevent a member from wasting their money on a joke, it might do well to get some other opinions in here. You need to listen to us. We're warning you about it for a reason.

Oh...hmm......
1) I have the MAF screen removed on both my cars. One is an SSEi with a custom intake and cold air box. Only issue on this one is a stutter when cold. After 5 mins of runtime, it'* right as rain. I doubt the screen removal has anything to do with it...I'm pretty sure it'* my cat that'* causing my issues, along with fuel pressure. The other is an SSE non-supercharged. Again, no issues with it. But I am also sitting at sea level where air density is, well, dense.
2) Electric turbo? I've heard of 'em, but the name should be "electric compressor" instead. Regardless, in order for it to make even 2 psi, it has to spin pretty fast. With the throttle plate closed. Which puts a bit strain on the battery. You could get the same results by shoving an air mattress compressor into the intake tube. Probably cheaper too.
I'm being smartasstic here...honestly, it'* a waste of time, money, and effort to put a hairdryer in your intake.

Dont waste your money Spend the 150.00 or what ever the cost on a Northstar TB and do that mod...
And I have also removed the screen in other cars just to find out it was put there to smooth out air flow (remove the turbulence) you gain nothing by doing this mod just like the electric turbo

I Think The One I WAS Going To buy Is The T. Knight version. Passing On That Frees Up Money. I Think It Was willwren who mentioned gmtuners.Com * aka SINSTER PERFORMANCE* for the only Available True Performance Chip For My 94 SE. They Program The Eprom To The Exact Specs You Give Them, All Of WhichI Have. the list of specs is way long too. Any Remarks Or Opinions Are Welcome And Requested.
You were thinking of dumping $2k plus the cost of batteries on the Knight? Glad you dumped that idea. You could have sold your car and bought a newer SSEi for less money out of your pocket.
On the Sinister Performance PCM'*, you have to have a scantool, and SHOULD have dyno time to get a custom PCM right. But in the long run, would a PCM do you much good on an essentially stock car? Probably not. Although they are fairly inexpensive.
Only one member here ever ran one of those PCM'*. Nobody currently is. So the jury is really still out on that one.
