Anyone ever looked into lighting the arrowhead on the front end f the car? It'* a project I've been thinking of, and will look into a bit further during wash day tomorrow, but figured I'd see if anyone else had pulled it off yet first.

I've got the 98, so it'* recessed a bit into the grill opening. I don't even know if it'* possible to get light through the badge or not yet. Something to think about, I guess...

I think the light up PONTIAC text on the back of the tail lights is more effective. The cops make more of a fuss of aftermarket lighting projects on the front of the car then on the back of a car.
Drifter420 has done it to his car. Looks pretty cool. Very unique idea. Its one of the only things I like about the Sunfire. However, he used neon instead of cheap 194R lights. They don't effectively light up.
Or you can do what Smeillbird did....he added 2 neon tubes behind his grille....very chic if you ask me. His avatar image shows it very well actually

Oh, I plan to do the light up tail thing. Since computer cold cathode tues run on 12V, come in Red, and are cheap (seen 'em for about 10 ea) that'* what I plan on using. Y'all are right, tho, definitely have to consider what the cops want you doing to the front end.

I've read that several times!! But I'm betting real neons are more expensixe and hotter than the computer case lights. Probably brighter, too, but if I use a clear "lens" the read cathodes should work, dontcha think?

Oh ya..probably, make sure you post the results. That way ppl can give it a shot on there own. Neon stays cool tho. But options are always good
