Default NOS CAT question

Well.. after talkin to a few people bout racing and all, we got to the subject about WOT and Cat reaction. From what I've been told that when cars go on WOT they usually ( exhaust ) smell bad cause of more unburnt fuel reachin the Cat and gettin burnt there. ( Which I can see and explain how they stink at WOT on some cars ), but then was also informed that NOS kills the Cat quicker.. I know the amount of times people are on NOS would be so small to the whole life span of the Cat, but just simply wanted to know if it'* TECHNICALLY correct. Thanx all

Ahhh...I'm not sure that that would be true, if anything my thoughts are it would be the other way around. The cat doesn't like seeing unburnt fuel and nitrous helps burn fuel better. So it would almost seem like it would be the other way around. not 100% though

Yeah I think your correct thats why people run NOS in the first place so you burn hotter right??? So... if it burns hotter then I think there would be less fuel not burnt in the combustion chamber....EH???
