Default NGK iridium IX... Whos got 'em?

My Taylor Spiros and JET stat should be coming in any day now from ADTR, but who sells the NGKs? They arent stocked anywhere locally and on the internet i keep coming up with LAPD. (Los Angeles Perofromance Depot) I would much rather get them from sponsors of this awesome site then order them from CA and have to wait 2 weeks. (I'm in MD).

i need the TR55ix'* i think. Can anyone that has them already for a 95 SC confirm?

Thanks and cheers!

I got them from the GP Store at www.PFYC.com . I think they work great. What I haven't had a chance to do yet is pull them back out and inspect them to so how they "really run".

You have a 2.3 pulley on your '95? I just got a 2.5 and I noticed a big differnce. How does the 2.3 fair in the higher RPM band width? Can you tell if there is any power loss due to heat? Rumor had it that 2.5 was the smallest recommended for a 94-95 SSEi.

thanks for all the info guys. Ty, whats your #?

The pulley and the exhaust get installed on Monday. Like a fool i started my MOD kick about a month ago and never knew about this site. I had already ordered the exhaust and the pulley before i found out that its not recommended to go below 2.5. I'm scared now. I was actually going to post that question: What am i at risk of blowing up if i go with a 2.3 installed?

Here are some of the past links on the SC pulley. There is a bypass valve to prevent "blowing up" your SC but not sure exactly how it works. The main issue with too small of a pulley is the heat generated by the higher RPM'* actually out-weighs the gains from the smaller pulley.

Looks like you got the ghetto gold rims though, but I won't hold that against you. LOL

There is actually a car at my work that is identical. I've parked next to it before and it has every single option I do down to every single little piece. Kinda freaky.

Let me know how the mods go. I am VERY interested in the results of the 2.3 pulley. I don't know of any 94-95 SSEi'* that are running a 2.3 here.

Default THE PAIN, CANT STAND THE PAIN!!!

Wellllllllll, it looks like the Mods that were going in Monday are going to have to wait until i get my new transaxle now since mine just blew up on the way home! pulling into my road no less, after an hour ride home. if you were interested in what the 4T60-E HD performance transaxle from ASG (on domestic performance website) can do for our car, i'll be able to tell you in a week or so. He'll have one ready to ship Tuesday so it looks like i'll be bonneless til next friday maybe.
MUCH thanks and shout outs to the SPEEDGUY for all his help on this. He realized my urgency when i called him, and went out of his way to get me hooked up with no time to spare. Thanks TY!! u da man!

I have to reschedule the exhaust and super charger pulley for now. The good thing is they are already paid for so my wife cant cut me off. LOL

Funny u call them ghetto wheels thats what i call them too! :P They were also going to come off, but now that i'll be $4,500 lighter for the tranny and install, I think they're gonna have to wait! OUCH!
