It'* BS in the sense that I'm not doing it (at least right now anyway), but yes, it was a standalone engine management system, laptop tunable that I had in mind. There'* a few options like that out there, and it would be a distinct advantage over the hybrid PCM.

The larger turbo doesn't need to be intercooled if you run it off the rear (before the muffler), as the length and location of the piping cools the boost charge.

1 perfectly sized turbo would be much better then a system like that. Most people who are modifying a factory twin turbo system like that put on matching turbos, and dump the diverters. I'd look at what GN guys are running...

There'* a 1.5L VW in europe that has a turbo and supercharger...

Frankly I wouldn't put a large one after the small one ina single exhaust pipe setup either. A HUGE part of spinning a turbo is the fact you're using hot exhaust gasses, and once they've gone though the smaller one would be expanding much slower. I'm also not quite a fan of the rear mounted turbos, and no intercooling.
