Default strut replacement

If you are thinking of replacing the front struts on your Bonneville Autozone has a nice tool for taking the tension off the coil spring. [Rears do not require spring compressor]. It has two spring compressors in one package. It is from Great Neck and part number is 25550. Price is only $35 for two compressors. They lock onto spring top and bottom with supplied bars and can't go anywhere because of lock pins. Nice design actually. Guaranteed for life also. Local shop here wanted $75 to replace struts with struts already out of the car. So I did them myself for less and still have the tool. Hope this helps.

Default Gabriel Ultra struts

If you are considering the Gabriel ULTRA strut you can find the part numbers G56718 for the fronts and G56903 [with auto leveling] on ebay for less than price from Amazon. Be careful since Gabriel did not change the part number when the ULTRA struts came out. [Thanks Gabriel!] Some of the struts with correct part number on ebay are the older Red Ryder struts and you don't want them. SO make sure it is ULTRA stuts in the box before you order them. Hope this helps.

Hmmmmm...I'll have to keep these in mind. I'll be needing some soon.

Good to know!
