Ok, I missed the ceramic part of the powder coating. Should be good. You want it to insulate the best you can. If dirthead ported them, they were done well. He just may not have the equimpment to weld builduup material under the necks.

He said he ran them on his car and they worked fine, so hopefully they work well for me. But I'll still do up my stock set, I can always sell them if I dont need them. Helps when you have access to talent.

Oddly enough my GTpowderworks PEM'* don't have buildup under the necks either.

Yea you're the one who pointed that out to me. That'* what i don't get. I got mine from Tommy who got them from GTpowderworks which i thought was the same thing as hulkspeed. Compared to stockers they are ported out a decent amount. I'm looking at getting headers anyways late this season but i can't help but wonder if my front manifold could have been ported more had it been welded underneath the "primaries".

I think after Travis'* Hulkspeed went out of business, he changed his style of business for the worse. I won't bring all that up in public, but I had the WORSE experience with hulkspeed.

Matt had his PEM'* at WCBF a couple years ago. Without the buildup underneath, there'* a noticable difference front to rear. Still better than stock, but buidling up is the best way to match them.

Thanks, they shoudl look good on the car. Gave them a light sanding, then primer. Then I gave them 2 coats of auto paint, same color as my car. Then 2 more coats of clear coat.
