It will depend on what you all want done. Just a muffler, a fair price should be about $150 or so installed. No need to change the pipes as it'* stainless. If you wish to improve more for even deeper sound and better performance you can change to a free flow cat. About $80 for the cat, and about $100 or so to have a place install it. Are you looking for high end performance?

i want it to sound good, i mean the deeper the better so the cat would deffenently be a plus and pretty reasonable price. high end performance is something that im am also interested in but im just worried about the cost of that. did you have something in mind?
thanks a lot

This is my car, I have 1.9:1 roller rockers, TOG headers with 1 5/8" primarys, 3" down pipe, 3" magnaflow free flow cat, and a flowmaster series 80 muffler.

ok looking at your exaust brings another question to the table, sinse the ssei has two mufflers does that mean i would have to buy two of the wichever muffler i decide to go with or do you just need the one muffler when crossing over to aftermarket exaust?

Do you have 1 or 2 on your car now? My car came stock with a 1 in 2 out muffler. Some years have a y pipe and run 2 mufflers. I believe those are series 40 mufflers.

Then just go with 2 40s. I would suggest not removing the resonator. doing this can make it sound rather raspy. I remember one member running 2 resonators and it made a nice sound with much less cabin drone.

Not a problem. here'* where I got my cat from, best price I found at the time I bought it.

ZZ Performance

You may want to Email them first to make sure it wont throw a error, I seem to remember newer cars having problems with some cats.
