Default New exhaust put on!!!

The exhaust I was talking about a few days ago:

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=26154

Has been put on! First off it sounds very aggressive. I had it put on at Merlins, where they overcharged me I think, it cost me $65 for just the muffler and fabbed up tail-pipes going to the stock tips.

Pics are coming soon, I don't know about sound clips as I have no camcorder to put it on, but we shall see.

The sound, like I said is amazing. I would imagine this is louder than an 80-series. Going to get even louder, as I have plans to put on a 3" exhaust after my cam install. For now though, I am gonna get quotes removing the resonator.

What are peoples thoughts about removing the resonator, in what way does the sound change? Is it simply louder, or raspier, or what?

Raspier, with more burble especially while decelerating.

This sounds like a good mod. So you say it was only $65 huh? Do I just show up to a place with my muffler in my hand and have them put it on or will I need to buy some pipes and tips? I do want some nice stainless tips but what about the pipes, will they just throw some on there?

Wait can I do this with my 93? That T muffler in particular?

I do not see why not. The t muffler will make it easier to do a dual exhaust. Yeah, you just show up, although I would call first.

That muffler might be pretty good, but you should also take a look at the Magnaflows on Ebay. I picked up my Wide Open Performance for the same price. Good name, car sounds great (especially when it'* running properly), feel a power increase in the top end. Or maybe that'* just my ears making me think I'm going faster. Either way, it'* nice. Check the old standby brands. There are some great deals out there.

Been looking at the pics of the T muffler and is it possible that they could put it on wrong or is there some sort of design on it that tells the installers how to put it?
