Default New exhaust installed...

After living with a blown cat and loose down pipe for 6 months I finally got my new exhaust installed. I am running 3" stainless steel all the way with mandrial bends. Both the cat and resonator have been removed. I am using a Magnaflow muffler off of a V8 Camaro with twin dual rolled chromed square tips. I went with the 3" because I have plans to install a CAI and a 2.25 - 2.4 */c pulley in the real near fuure. I wanted to make sure I had plenty of CFM flow thru ther system.

Here are some pics:

and here is an audio clip (39 sec, right click and save):

Cost? It'* gonna hurt!

This was entirey a custom install. The pipe was also rerouted to avoid uneccissary bends (I think about 3 were removed). I don't have a parts specific breakdown but here goes:

Parts were $669.99

Tips were about $47 a piece, 15+ feet of 3" stainless steel @ $13 - $18 per foot, Chromed muffler around $130 (no cat or resenator purched )

Labor was $480

Total was $1179.99

But it was worth every penny.

I got themn thru my local speed shop John Haley Motorsports

They got them thru trhe same vendor that provided the rest of the parts. I believe it is 3" inlets and 2.25" outlets, but I am not positive. It is whatever came with the muffler.
