Default New Engine (please Help)

Im buying a 1995 engine for my 1992 SSEi since my 92 engine blew up, what all will i need besides the engine to make it work? PCM? All info regarding this will be extremely appreciated, thanks.

Anyone have any ideas? Im gonna get a new radiator and tranny cooler to go with the new engine but what else will i need? I mean will the hyperteched pcm from my 92 work with the 95 engine?

Make sure all the same sensors are there, and it should work.

The engine im putting in is a L67 from 1995 bonnie to replace my 1992 L67, well i ordered the engine today, be here monday and hopefully done putting in by wednesday or thursday

Mike, the supercharged series I is an L67, just like the series II.

My car is a 1994 SSEi I have a question is the L67 ser. 1 engin the same as the ser. 2 engin. because i have a 1997 ser. 2 engin and was wondering if it would bolt right up to my supercharger and transmission. Thanks

RedVette, it should bolt up to the tranny, but I don't know if the chargers share a footprint. Either way, you'd be in for a very dificult swap. Definatly not recommended.

Superchargers and manifolds are totally different. No bolting up. You need the entire engine, wiring harness, and USUALLY the trans (and PCM).

Oh really.. I was told that the series II would bolt right in.. Well that sucks. How hard would it be? is All the wireing diffrent? My car has headers. Did it come stock with headers? How much would it cost for a used series I engin? how much would it cost me to put the series II engin in ?? So many Questions! thanks for any help..[/u]
