Only one car here has both that I'm aware of. I have a stocker in my SSEi, and had to add one to my SC/SLE because it never came with one. I prefer the stocker, and have found mine to be pretty accurate.

I have an SSEi and I have an aftermarket boost gauge. Accurate or not the stock gauge is pegged so I upgraded.

something to consider would be an Aeroforce scan gague....this way you can have a gague and also monitor other parameters

Depends on your amount of boost. The stock only reads 10 I think. If your over that you will want an aftermarket gauge. If you don't trust the accuracy of the gauge you can upgrade as well.

That would be reading exactly as the stock gauge, since it'* signal also comes from the PCM.

Does the S1 have two maps one for gauge and one for PCM like the S2 does?

One for the gauge, only on SSEi'*. NONE for the PCM. But the MAP for the gauge goes through the PCM to the gauge IIRC. The PCM just doesn't use it for any other function (fueling, timing, etc.)

Up through 95, the L27, L36 and L67 have NONE unless it'* an SSEi.
