I tried searching and couldn't seem to find what I was lookin for. Im looking at my first mod to my otherwise stock 2000 ssei to be a 3.5'' pulley.

I've planned on using just a press on from ZZP for the time being, since I don't plan on going much further than simple upgrades. I can't seem to pick out a belt that would be right for me, I would greatly appreciate any help

goodyear gatorback belts are very good the are cross cut to allow the belt to be cooler and are very durable i had one on my old truck lost a pulley while going down the high way belt went around the fan took it out look it over and it was still good they also dont stretch out as quickly as othe belts i think that you can use the stock size belt if you are dropping to a 3.5. 3.4 and below i think you need a shorter belt

Think the stock one will be fine? I wasn't sure about slippage / quality if it would be a good idea to get a gatorback or not, I figured it wouldn't hurt

I have a 3.4 pulley and the stock belt was fine. You could go 1/2" shorter if youre real worried about slipping

X2...you don't need to go a smaller belt or an oversize tensioner pulley until you start getting below the 3.2 pulley size.

Stock belt size is fine down to a 3.4", but slippage is possible. Any smaller and you will slip. You can drop 10mm smaller then stock if you wish, but it will be a tight fit.
