i wouldn't think so cause the torque coverter will still be locked on and giving you horrible shifts all the way through the gears

yeah but when i delete the code it goes back to normal right away, so that shouldnt happen if the solenoid is bad should it?

it takes 3 cosecutive instances to set the engine light again i can clear mine and drive it around for varying lengths of time before my sets off again

ya mine will act normal til it decides it wants to play with me again. i have figured out that if you want to stop it for the time being drive it in 3 not D and you'll be fine. i use to not even make it 160 miles before mine would trip again since driving it in 3 i have surpassed 500 miles without the light coming on

you get a little worse gas mileage doin it but it'* better than the trans jerking like hell when it shifts

yeah i can handle the poor gas mileage, well i should be used to it the way i drive my cars haha
