Default My work in progress

Here'* a link to what I posted regarding my '92.

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=75244

I was just wondering if there are any upgrades/improvements that perhaps I've overlooked or haven't yet planned to do that might help me get the most performance out of my old sweety. Thanks.

Click on Techinfo on the top of the page. Once there, click on Performance.

Thanks wren. I'm actually a take-it-apart-and-put-it-back-together kind of learner, since I'm not a car expert by a long shot, but I cannot compare that with the immense amount of knowledge I've gained from these forums. I have combed through the techinfo files at least a dozen times (no joke, lol) and have taken a lot of ideas from them.

I was just wondering if there'* anything different anybody'* done that they might be willing to share, in case it might be beneficial to me.

Default UPDATE

:::UPDATE:::

Okay, I put on the new intake, it'* a shortpipe, but I have an extension on the way and I've still got to put together the shield to separate it off, but oh MAN... I'm starting to wonder if it wasn't the intake that was preventing my RPMs from getting anywhere above 3000.... When I took off the airbox, it sure seemed in rotten shape, and the filter was horrible. Also, there seemed to be some blockage in the headlamp-end tube. Now I gas it and the engine is like
"I CAN BREATHE!"

I finally got to rip open with it on the highway today and it'* like a whole new car!

It'* amazing what simple things can accomplish... Will keep you all updated. Got the stat and sparks/wires all comin' in tomorrow.
