Not sure really, I would like it to be under $50 for both of them but I want I guess chrome or stainless steel and maybe squarish. Some nice 3'' angle cuts would work though. Im gonna have a look at Pepboys or Wal-Mart and see if I can find something nice. I'll spend the big bucks later.
squarish tips? you got it! they're stainless and made by magnaflow... http://www.justmagnaflow.com/Tips/SingleWall.htm part #35134, $18.58 each, so $37.16 for 2, ...and still under $50

Do I have to tell them all the little details or do I just say "put this, this, and this on" ? I was also told to tell them to put stainless steel tubing?
me being myself i would tell them exactly how i wanted it done, like having the muffler and tips welded on rather than clamped on, i just feel better havin it welded on, the shop will more than likely wanna put aluminized pipe on and actually since your muffler will be aluminized i wouldnt worry bout goin with stainless pipe, you can heat paint it so it will last a while. but bottom line if i were you id have them weld the muffler, cat and tips to your pipes. i had to do a lot of askin around to find a good exhaust shop and the one even showed me pictures of the exhaust work he has done before and i was impressed. i always hate to see a sloppy exhaust job so find a good place at a reasonable price.

You MUST tell them exactly what you want done. I did not and ended up spending $900 on an exhaust system that I didn't like. They did fix some of the things that I asked them to, but it still isn't what I originally wanted, and now it looks ugly underneath with all of the fix-ups.
