You don't need a high flow cat, I would however consider a high flow resonator if you can find em.
2.25" sounds right....
Lifetime stainless steel all the way, make sure the hangers are stainless as well H, very important. If I remember correctly, 2000+ Bonnes have dual mufflers, be prepared to shell out a bit either way

There is definately a higher pitched sound there, but I don't think it sounds bad...just not quite as good as this http://www.fearthepearl.com/vids/zeke.mpg
I don't know...so many decisions. :P
And damn it, I want Corsa tips, but they only sell them as part of their unbelievably expensive sytems.
Your supercharged engine will help with the sound. You gotta decide what you are lookin for here...sound or performance or both?
I mean, your car shouldnt sound to loud, and the Maggers should give that, esp duals. For tips...Hedman all the way, from www.pfyc.com, 59 bux for 2....nice....

If you want the most noticeable gain, install a set of headers and remove the Cat if you're allowed. The headers will exit at 3.0". Then you can connect directly to your original exhaust. I kept the resonator so I don't get a resonant drone at that certain rpm.
You could run 3" all the way back and split to twin 2.5" with new mufflers but the gain will be sound quality and visual mostly. The muffler size should be as large as the original so it matches your engine displacement size. 17" isn't that much larger than the original so it should fit. Go with a shiny chrome or stainless one.
Happy modding.

Hmmm...15 vs 17...anyone know for sure if they would fit? I don't want to get them and realize they're too big.
The Green SSEi has no res on it.
Again flowmaster is more of an "american" sound, maggies are slightly mellower.
Dynomax is the only difference.
These two vids that you have here are why i want one on mine.
Keep in mind these are free revs, not under load (which is louder, and lower).

I will most likely do headers too, but one thing at a time
And I definately don't want it too loud...just a little more "muscular" if you know what I mean.
As for tips, I just love the ones on the GXP...the inside bevel adds a lot.

I wish I had someone from the '00+ crew who has done it to go by.

Do not put headers on the car unless you are thinking of a smaller pulley. You will lose a lot of boost that while the HP will be the same or better, it will not feel as torquey. I know I didn't feel the pull again until after I pu the 3.2 pulley on (from the 3.4). The performance of our exhaust is not that bad at all and unless you want to get a better sound there is no reason to change it. My 2cents but I would mod some before looking at changing the exhaust unless your just in it for the sound.
I want mine to sound like Zeke'* car too, that sounds damn awesome. I'm hoping it turns out like that by only changing the mufflers. Did Zeke only change his muffler or what? it sounds damn nice, the nicest one I"ve heard yet.
