The ride in my LeSabre is waay too bouncy. (It does ride nice though.)
I would like a good suspension, that will take corners without squealing the tires. (my tires are the p205/75/r14)
However, I would still like a nice smooth soft ride.
When I accelerate hard, the front end raises, and the rear end goes down, I'm assuming new shocks will eliminate that?
The current ones I think are fine, but get into rough pavement, the car bounces.
Should I also look at getting new springs? The old ones look fine, no sagging, or anything.
Thanks for the advice. I did read the strut replacement post, but did not really know what to get.. Did learn a few things bout the monroe'* though.

Go big. Just ignore the part numbers (those listed are for ELC struts).

I know this is not an answer to your question but I put the Reflex shocks on my 91 GMC Sonoma pick up and it made a big difference. The truck no longer bounces, it is still a rough ride without a load, and the tires stay on the ground. The handling is better and the truck no longer dives under hard braking. I would recommend the Reflex line of Shocks from Monroe.
