Welcome to the club! I actually work for a Canadian company, not too bad to work for ;)

Our cars should already have a restrictor/check valve installed near the modulator. Also, you can order a tunable modulator as well.

Buy the adjustable modulator. A handful of us run them. They're much more predictible and responsive. And they're not expensive.

YOU remove the vacuum line from modulator??????

willwren 09-25-2006 06:23 PM

Fran, he has a newer Bville now. In 1997, the 4T65E trans replaced the 4T60E. The 65 doesn't use a vacuum modulator. It's electrically controlled.

OK I can' t unplug the vacuum line.....because I can broke my trans....?sorry for my bad english,,,

You NEED a modulator. You cannot delete it or disconnect it.

Either stay with the OEM modulator or buy an adjustable modulator.
