Default making a custom exhaust

hears what i have got planned.doing a magnaflow high flow cat,magnaflow muffler, resonator delete then a Magnaflow Y pipe then and out to eldorado tips

hears the links to the parts

the custom bend pipes out to



the exhaust will be all TIG welded up

but i need some input on the set up

Do you plan on doing this yourself, or havinh an exhaust shop do it? You may have ot have custom hangers made too.

im doing it myself we just got a new TIG welder so im going to work on it my self

These guys have mandrel bends in stainless.

I also made some 4 bolt flanges and installed them before and after the cat. It makes the exhaust easier to move out of way for doing other maintenance.

The hardest part is going to be the y-pipe section and the tails because of the bends. Its makes it pretty hard to do without access to a tubbing bender. I have seen a lot of cobbled up exhaust systems where they welded up a bunch of straight pipes to make the bends. Looks like crap. I would not suggest doing that. Try and save all the bends if you can.

Many of the caddy'* in that era are about the same exhaust. Maybe a trip to the JY is in order to just pick up a good exhaust?
