Hey Everyone.
I have been asked in the past for a sound recording of my cars exhaust system. Recently LittleHoov and Jrs3800. Merlin1 has graciously hosted. So if you over load one server...there is another
My friend Jon Eger has also hosted another...hee hee..
The first half of the recording is taken from outside behind the exhuast tip. Please forgive me for the audio quality the vibration of the tip caused a few jumps in the audio. The second half is from inside the car in the drivers seat, in park revving to about 2500 RPMs
Hope you like it....and Enjoy!!!

Definitely sounds louder, but with a better tone than mine, even though mine is a 3" inlet with dual 2.5" outlets. I do have to say it sure sounds nice.
Mine sounds like stock, but just a little louder. But then it also depends on the temp of the engine. I find when in the 210-230 range it has a much throatier burble and sounds great, but the performance is down due to the temps in that range.
Stylez

so u dont have a resonator on that? if so then that will be good cause im gonna keep mine.and therefore it will be quieter.also which muffler did you get? just the universal fit or what?

Its the Magnaflow for Cameros in fact. But if you are having it installed, they know what the right P/N it is. If you wanna do it yourself, contact someone at Magnaflow and tell them to ship a muffler that would bolt up to a Bonneville.
BTW I had my cat back exhuast fully installed and welded.

That was with the windows up in the back, down a crack in the front, in Park and low revs.
I have stood outside the car as my parents used the car once, its definitely louder but not irritable loud
it sounds very neat in a tunnel or under a bridge. Inside the cabin when driving its hardly noticable (to me) due to engine whine, wind noise and of course tunes

its louder then stock, a guy on my street has a 91 SE stock and mine is louder

Its the high flow cat and no resonator that make all the diff. The muffler itself is not that loud. Oh the tip does a good job with amplifying the sound. Stocker tips won't be that loud.
