Default Magnaflow or Flowmaster

ok on an 02 bonnie sle. Im just going to start a little poll here. Im torn between the two and hopefully i can make my decision from here. And yes i know that its not going to add performance, i just want good sound. So which is it, Magnaflow muffler or Flowmaster 40 series? Everything from the mufflers up towards the engine is stock.

I'm running a Flowmaster series 80. Here'* a video but keep in mind, I'm running rockers, headers, free flow cat, and I'm 3" to the resonator.

I see that you have modified the intake, so if you open up your exhuast you will see a little better performance.

Exhaust opinions are like color choices, everyone has a different opinion. Listen to each and Let your own ear
decide. Personally, I like the stock Bosal sound of the GXP over Magnaflux or Flowmaster. Its deep and throaty at an idle, crisp and snappy at a wide open throttle. Almost screams at the top end. If I activate the nitrous by punching down the accelerator, it really turns heads.

Dan, I was hoping for you to open that thing up in the vid.

I tried doing one where I put the camera down and drive away, then turn around and tear past. But the wind kept blowing the camera over.

Just hang the cam from the truck latch between the two exhaust tips and do a couple WOT'*.

I don't think I want to explain that idea to my wife. Well, it seemed like a good idea.

I'm running 3" to a Goerlich 608227 High Flow cat, no resonator, Y-pipe to 2-2.5" and twin 14324 Magnaflows. The sound is rich and the throttle response is noticeable.

Go to The Official Site of MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust - Exhaust Systems For Trucks, Suv'*, American Muscle, Diesel, & Sport Compact Vehicles and click on the hear it. It will give you an idea of what they sound like, however; there are too many variables to honestly answer your question about them all sounding the same.
