(last year its what i made with a broken boost control solenoid:16.4@86mph)with
like 2.4 on the 60feet.

The removal of the MAF Screen also gave me a nice boost too. Also made my idle a little nicer [somewhat like a small grind cam.. but still smooth]. Real nice lopey idle with a vacuum line disconnected

Not a fair comparison, Justin. You have a one-piece aluminum intake with no tuned runners. Your airflow is totally different.

What is that supposed to mean? You saying your intake is better than my intake? My intake could kick your intake'* ***! . Seriously though, what is a 'tuned runner'? And what makes my airflow different?

What I'm saying is that comparing your car without a MAF screen to an L27 or L36 would be like saying that Star Wars was good because Tom Cruise starred in Top Gun.

You have cast runners and ports. Casting makes it more difficult and expensive to get detail in the part. So the L27 went with a plastic upper with an insert. The insert is where the runners are, and they're tuned for length. The primary difference in the L36, other than valve sequence spacing, was that the runners went from square to round.

So the point is that your car may have one effect, where an L36 can have a totally different experience.
