Many of you know that I've been disappointed in the cooling capabilities of the car since installing a 10% underdrive light-weight water pump pulley. It just doesn't cut the mustard (and yes, my cooling system is in perfect condition from top to bottom). I've resorted to keeping the pulley on, but making other changes to make up the difference, and also making another planned change. I just finished:

I'm anal enough about the Zilla, that I want to test the parts first:

Can you see the difference? Ignore the bypass hole difference and the temp rating, as well as the '2 supports vs. 3 supports'. There'* another subtle difference:

God help me tomorrow while I turn the very first Bonneville-tested K&N RX-4750 inside-out, and God bless every person who attends WCBF06 and gets sucked into the M62 of death.

God help my hood when both rotors come through it, and pray that they don't hit the windshield as they spin at 20,100rpms. God have mercy on my ears on the way to work in the morning.

95 needs a Cat and a Battery.

BTW, for those that are wondering, I've made my own E-stat, so this thermostat won't cause problems with open/closed loop modes in the PCM. The PCM will think I'm actually 10-15° warmer than it really is.

Fire it up and give it a few revs... with the camera. We NEED to hear it.

Based on what the 2.2" did with the Gen 3 (94/95) SC and TB, I'd guess 13-14psi on the gauge. It would be higher if I hadn't ported the living snot out of the LIM and EM'*.
