Default LSD opens the mind

Not that LSD, the Limited-Slip Differential kind.

I just got back from a trip to the new INTENSE garage in Ohio and boy! Clean, big, and oh so perdy facility. The main reason for this trip was to get a Gen 2 LSD installed, which only took 30 minutes I believe.

After that we diagnosed why I've been getting maxed out LTrims for the past many months and it turns out it was just a bad MAF. LOL!
So the next morning we popped one in, and the short trims zero'ed right out. I got great gas mileage on the drive home and regained some lost power due to running rich for a VERY long time.

If I had a question, the INTENSE crew was there to step right in to give me an answer and I felt like I could just throw them the keys without any worries (which I did...many times). It was also a treat to finally meet Scott Cook: the face behind the emails.

As for how the Limited Slip Diff is...
Before the install from a 20mph punch the car would just spin the tires and jerk off the road from extreme torque steer. But a few hours after the LSD was in I tried the same scenario and the tires just spun for second, gripped the road, and I was literally thrown back into my seat not expecting the results. Also the car doesn't pull to one way or the other when I get on it, therefore I have much more control as low speed WOT'*.

This was money well spent.

Oh BTW: Yes I'm back.

No pics, sorry. :(

I honestly didn't have time to stop and meet with anyone else because of personal family issues ATM.

Nice purchase! I would love to get an LSD one day. I can barely get traction with just my minimal mods.

It was nice meeting you Kyle.

I don't think I've ever seen a Bonneville that color by the way...

Glad you're happy with your new LSD!

He y welcome back Kyle -It'* been awhile since I've seen a recent post under that SN.

So what are the projections for this summer? 13.3'*? Any new mods besides the LSD?
Considering running the nitrous or did you sell that (or the 1994 SSE)?

Again, it'* great to have you back. I'll have to have my Dippy done (headers, rockers, cam, intake, carb, dual 2.5" Magnaflow exhaust and bring it to Bville-fest this year. See if I can give you a run for your money.
