ls4 swap, Is it possible?
If you were to break your input shaft, it would be quite broken and not let you drive. This is what it looks like when you break your input shaft:

The comments about the video are that he was using a Chrysler 300M input shaft, but that'* incorrect. It'* a stock replacement made using much stronger metal.

Differential? My 99 SLO'* differential leaked for almost a year before the rest of the transmission gave out. Had the rest not died, I could have lived with a differential leak for quite a bit. Whatever ails your car, good luck!
One other thing you should consider is AWD. You just need a Pontiac Aztek transfer case from its 4T65E. The case bolts up in place of the differential, you put the differential on the transfer case, and use a shorter passenger-side axle.
