the ls2 is in my vette. i am going to be pulling it to install a 427 ls2. so the motor cost me 00.00. any info on the trannys used in the grand prix would be great. someone mentioned a ls1 being put in one before any info on that build or a location of soe info would be great.

the ls2 is the new version of the ls1. it is in my 2005 corvette. it has 400 hp and 400 ft lbs of torq. the man diffrence is the sleeving process is like the c5r block. so when resleeving and boring it out it is a dry instead of wet sleeve. meaning the coolant it touching thr actual sleeve. any way it is all alum so super lite and tons of power. o want a 300c srt 8 in my bonneville. wish it could be to the rear whells but it cannot so we move on. i do not want a drag car but a killer sport sedan that will eat most big dollar big cars. it gets way better mpg then the 3800 and it is a beast.

Step 2. Buy sweet turbo setup for 3800
Step 3. Take leftover money and...do whatever you want too with it.
