LS1 Engine Swap?
I am all for originality.
One of the most original rides I ever saw was a 1980'* something toyota pickup.
First thing you notice about the truck is that it appears to have no paint. The guy stripped it all the way down to the sheet metal and then put a dozen or so coats of clear on it. Looked very DeLorean like with the metal all polished and shiny.
Next thing you will notice when you walk around to the front are the 8 double barrel webber carbs. The truck had no hood and the carbs had velocity stacks that extended a couple inches above the hoodline. The motor powering this beast was a chevy 350.

Yea it was originality that put domestic power and a domestic rear end in a Miata and called it a monster Miata. The monster part being domestic of course. LOL I had to plug American product I couldn’t help myself. For the import lovers the only reason it could be done was the awesome suspension.
