Default Looking for the next mod?!

I have done 3.4 pulley, Intense PCM, Autolite 104s, 180* t-stat, Intense FWI. I currently have a Best time of 14.31.

This is my daily driver so I don't want to give up realibilty or too much MPG.

Let me hear any ideas ya got.

Also the less $$$ spent the better!

The only power adder I see is a 3.4" pulley, and that makes no sense with a 14.3 track time. Did you mean 15.3? Or are you leaving one or two mods out? Kinda need to get this figured out in order to tell you what'* next.

Nope running 14.31 with what I have listed. Could be faster but can't get traction! I ran a 14.4 with Traction control on and these are both in street trim at 2 different tracks.

Well, your car is responding well so far, so may be PEM'* or rockers? Probably both would be best. You've done the easy cheap stuff already. It gets more expensive from here.

Sorry to sound stupid but, what are PEMs? Headers?

BTW thanks for the help!
I was wondering about trans and suspension mods also. Will the trans hold if I put a stickier tire on?

Ported exhaust manifolds. Cheaper and easier to install than headers, and probably still at least half the gain as headers or more.

Do you buy these and where or is it something I do myself?

Yes, you can do it yourself. All you need is a few carbide bits, sandpaper cartridge rolls, and a nice die grinder. You can also buy them here:
http://www.3800performance.com/Merch...roduct_Count=2
Porting is pretty easy so if you don't need your car for a while I would just do it myself. Line up your gasket on your manifold, mark the excess material, and then just shave it off with your bits. Smooth out any obstructions and watch you don't get too thin, you'll hear a higher pitch if you are. Follow up with the sandpaper cartridge rolls and smooth it out real well. Exhaust porting should be very smooth, intake should be a little rough(if you ever do an intake).

Yes and no. Can you weld cast iron? In order to get a good flow match between the front and the rear to gain the most, you need to add material 'under the chin' of each of the 3 front runners first.

Can someone please post a picture of the runner inlets on an unported S2 front manifold for us? You'll see what I mean.
