Default Looking for help with some mod'*..

Hello Everyone,
I have a 92 Bonneville that is BONE stock. Im wondering what exactly is out there for any modifications. Exhaust, modded air box or even a cold air system, Chip, etc, etc. The only thing that i did was went with a good AC Delco platinum plug other then that there has been a complete tune up done done like everything else, I want more power... Without losing alot of fuel milage. I get 30MPH highway now and around 25 in town.

THanks,
Sellncars

Default MODS

First off increasing Horsepower is indirectly proportional to gas mileage. So if you want mileage...don't change much......LOL

Improving air flow in and out will increase HP.

A good Hi-Flow CAT and 2-1/2(mandrel bent): exhaust will help the rear.

Getting rid of the stock airbox will help the front.... For NA engines... a 3" intake is fine...Get a ricer pipe at autozone for $39 or walmart.. and enjoy the sound....

this should add 15-20hp and decrease your mileage 3-4 mpg.

Actually if you do the right mods it should gain you better mileage along with more horsepower as long as your not sticking your foot into it more. I added a custom intake and exhaust on my 89 bonneville and the fuel mileage increased as long as I wasn't driving it hard.

The first thing I'd do is lose the SSEi badges. All they do is give you the slowest SSEi anyone ever saw.

Most mods will increase mileage as hp and tq increase. Assuming your driving style remains unchanged.

I'm still getting 29-30mpg with all the mods listed in my sig. The car started at 25mpg when I got it. This is cruising on the freeway at 70-75.

Yea. It gives the car a "second" wind at highway speeds. Plus it sounds cool

Default You really dont like the SSEi badges ha? LOL

Quite honestly the SE badges were so boring, I ran across these at the bone yard and had to have them. They look better on the car. Had to let the factory stripe go too.

Thanks,

Intake for max performance mod, and exhaust for good performance, and GREAT attitude mod. Tint your tails like mine, and you're one bad ***...
